How much does a tattoo cost?The cost of a tattoo varies depending on the complexity and size of the project. To get an accurate estimate, send a message to the artist of your choice specifying: project, style, size and location. Include any relevant information that might influence the tattoo. Some projects require more time than others, and we want to make sure we understand your needs to give you an adequate price.

How to make an appointment?To make an appointment, contact our artists directly on Instagram (@le.petitmonstre and @levv.tattoo). They will respond quickly to discuss your project and set a date that suits you.

What payment methods do you accept?We accept cash or Interac e-transfer payments.

Do I need to make a deposit?Yes, a non-refundable deposit is required for all bookings to protect our artists. The deposit is usually $50, but can vary depending on the size of the project. In case of cancellation, the deposit is lost. However, in the event of a change of early appointment date (more than 72 hours before the date), the deposit will be carried over to the new date. Deposit policies may vary by artist; check out their Instagram page.

Do you do walk-in tattoos?No, we work by appointment only. This ensures efficient planning and a personalized experience for each client, as well as a calm and safe atmosphere.

Do you tattoo minors?No, you must be 18 years or older to get a tattoo at our studio. We make no exceptions, even with parental consent.

Are tattoos painful?Pain tolerance differs from person to person. Certain areas of the body are generally more sensitive than others, but the perception of pain remains subjective. Some people compare tattoos to a cat scratch or laser hair removal. Ask you artist for advice on tattoo placement and pain management if needed, and don't hesitate to take breaks during the tattoo.

Should I tip my tattoo artist?At your discretion. Tips are not necessary, but they're always appreciated.

Can I get a tattoo in the summer?Yes. However, you must avoid direct sun exposure during the healing period of your new tattoo. It is also recommended not to swim and to avoid any immersion in water, whether in sea water, swimming pool or bathing.

How do I know if I'm allergic to anything tattoo related?Check with your doctor before coming if you are known to have allergic reactions. Some customers experience allergic reactions to ink or other products. We can check if our products are safe for you during the appointment. Always inform your artist if you have any allergies or medical problems.

Do you do piercings?We only do tattoos.

Can I bring friends during the tattoo session?Yes. Please note that our workshop space is limited and we may need to restrict the presence of others during your session.

Can I bring a pet to the store?No. For many health and safety reasons, animals are strictly prohibited in our studio.

Can I get a tattoo if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?It is not recommended to get a tattoo while pregnant or breastfeeding.

How to find a good tattoo artist?Do some research! Look for artists whose portfolios feature styles you like and read reviews from past clients.

Can I get a tattoo if I suffer from certain illnesses?Certain medical conditions or medications may affect your ability to get a tattoo safely. It is essential to disclose any relevant medical history to your tattoo artist in advance. They will be able to tell you if it is safe to get a tattoo or recommend that you see a healthcare professional.

Are tattoos safe?Getting a tattoo come with risks such as infections, allergic reactions and other problems. You can manage those risks by choosing a reputable tattoo artist who uses sterile equipment, respects all safety measures and has been appropriately trained. Note that most problems are caused by inadequate aftercare. It is essential to follow your artist's instructions, and to consult a doctor immediately if needed. Before your appointment, speak frankly to your artist about any medical problems you may have, and ask questions if you do not understand the aftecare instructions.

What happens if I want to have a tattoo removed later?Laser tattoo removal is an option, but it can be expensive and time-consuming.
